Can I extend my rental?

As long as nobody else has booked the equipment, we are happy to extend your rental. The easiest way is to do it yourself: sign in to your account, open the booking and choose “Keep the equipment longer”. You will see straight away whether the equipment is free and what the extension costs before you confirm. It works right up until the return day.

If that does not give you an answer, or you would rather talk to us, get in touch before the return day — that gives us time to tell you if someone else has already booked it.

If we have not shipped your order yet, an extension is simply a rebooking: we recalculate the whole rental for the longer period at the ordinary price and you pay the difference. It costs exactly the same as booking the longer period from the start.

Once the equipment is on its way or already with you, the extra days are priced as a new rental instead. The total is then higher than booking the longer period up front, because the price per day falls the longer a rental is — and an extension starts again from the beginning of the price ladder.

We would rather you booked the longest period you might need the equipment and returned it early for a refund than booked short and extended. That way we know when the equipment is actually coming back and can safely take the next booking.
