What you are paying for in the shipping

Shipping covers delivery and return of heavy, insured equipment. The cart shows a preliminary total; the final price is confirmed at checkout after you choose a delivery method and complete your contact and delivery details.

When you shop in an ordinary web shop the parcel travels one way. With us it always travels two: out to you, and home to us again. That alone makes the cost double the shipping prices you are used to.

This is what is included:

The return shipping. You never pay extra to send the equipment back. You choose whether to leave the parcel at a PostNord service point or to book a pickup at your door — pickup is included for everyone, no matter how you chose to receive the delivery.

Proper packaging. The equipment travels in a protective hard case, not in a bag. That makes the parcels heavy and bulky — and PostNord charges by weight and size.

Insurance at replacement value, both ways. Every shipment is insured for what the equipment costs to buy new, the whole time PostNord has it — out to you and home to us again. If a lens worth 40,000 kr is crushed in transit, the insurance covers it, not you.

PostNord's best services. We ship with strict identity checking — only the person who signed the rental agreement can collect the parcel — plus fast delivery and full flexibility for you as the recipient. In the PostNord app you can redirect the parcel to another service point or choose a time for the home delivery.

Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and climate-compensated transport. We use only PostNord's Nordic Swan Ecolabelled delivery methods, and we climate-compensate on top of that.

How the shipping price is calculated

Shipping is SEK 195 per parcel plus SEK 40 per physical rental item. For small accessories such as filters, batteries, memory cards and card readers, the SEK 40 component is removed when they fit in the same parcel as other equipment in the same order. It applies as usual when the accessory is rented alone, needs another parcel or is placed in a separate nearby order for the same rental project. A bundle or kit counts as one item; its components are not counted again. Home delivery adds SEK 75 once per order. Orders in the same rental project are calculated together: base shipping is capped at 50% of the project rental price, while an additional separate order adds at least SEK 195.

Tip: combine your order

The base shipping model is not charged per rental day. Where possible, combine equipment for nearby dates in one order so the products share the per-parcel base.
